The build up to the Christmas holidays is nothing short of hectic, with all the presents, the nativity plays and trying to find the bulb on the tree that has blown all the lights. Of course there are also the emails, texts and phone calls organising who will see who this year, and when.
Well, if you want to get away from it all, we take some of the hassle away at Lancombe, with our festively decorated cottages, lodges and huts, a Grotto where Santa visits on Christmas and New Year week, and of course we are always at hand to make those Christmas wishes come true!
There is so much for children (and grown-ups) to do over the festive season in Dorset, so here are just some ideas:
Swanage Railway Santa Special – The Swanage Railway’s Santa Specials are famous around the world as Dorset’s leading family Christmas attraction. Their premier heritage steam railway, located at the seaside, is pleased to be host to Santa each Christmas.
Sail with Santa on a kid’s party cruise go on a Santa kids’ party cruise. Santa and his helper Dr Balloonman will give a 30 minute show, then perform magic or balloon modelling. Kids can also get a choice of amazing glitter tattoos.
