Christmas at Lancombe

Due to the current circumstances we all find ourselves in and how fluid this is, you will understandably have some questions. Hopefully I will have answered them for you here:

Q – What happens if Lancombe is ‘locked down’ again due to Covid and my holiday gets cancelled?

A – If I am unable to offer you your holiday, because we are under lockdown due to Covid, you will receive a full refund.

Q – What if I am locked down due to Covid and I am unable to make it to Lancombe?

A – If you are unable to make it here due to a local lockdown as a result of Covid, you will receive a full refund. If you yourself have to isolate due to track and trace, or receive a Covid positive test, you will be asked for evidence of this before a refund will be issued.

Q – Do I still need to get Travel Insurance?

A – Yes. We are being flexible with our Terms & Conditions in relation to Covid lock downs, as insurers will not cover you for this. For any other cancellation reasons, our normal T&Cs will apply, so I strongly urge you to still take out Travel Insurance.

Q – What facilities are open?

A – Our Indoor Heated Pool is open. This is available on a booking slot basis, so that only one household uses it at any one time. This has gone down so well with our guests, as you are able to book your own slots, and you have your own private pool for that period. Please note: the changing rooms, sauna and loo are still closed.

The Games Room is closed due to Covid, as it’s too small, with too many hard surfaces, to ensure you will be safe and to maintain social distancing.

The chickens aren’t worried about Social Distancing, and are more than happy for their eggs to be collected, in payment for food! 😉

Santa won’t be in his Grotto this year, but don’t worry, I still have some treats up my sleeve!! The Elves and Fairies will be in the woods too, and are more than happy to have visitors. They love it even more with a letter to reply to!

Q – Will there be Christmas Decorations?

A – Oh yes! We will still be festively decorating your cottage or lodge, and each will have their own tree.
