3rd December 2021.

As some of you may know, Dementia is a disease that is very close to mine and my family’s heart.  The Alzheimer’s Society support those who are suffering with Dementia and their families.

This year, both myself and Lancombe will be taking part in one of the excellent Charity activities, which is Elf Day.

In order to support this excellent cause, we will be taking part and ask you to help us support this fantastic cause.  I won’t just be sending out a ‘Just Giving’ page and asking you to donate your well earned money (whilst we would be extremely grateful for any support you can give us)…we intend to work for it and make it even more fun in the process.

Firstly, if you book a stay for this weekend, from either the Friday or the Saturday, I will donate 5% of the total cost of your booking to the Alzheimer’s society.  Please click here to check out prices, availability and to book this weekend at Lancombe: BOOK UP

In our virtual Gift Shop, I will also be selling your own handmade Elves that you can buy.  100% of the purchase price will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Society.

I personally, will be dressing as an Elf all through the weekend, so that’s the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  This means when you arrive, you and your family will be greeted by a real-life Elf.  This also means that if I need to go to the shop, post a letter or leave the grounds for any reason, I will still be dressed as an Elf.  I will take photos as proof, and they will be posted on social media with an update on how much we have made.

Other fun activities will be:

Finding the naughty Elve’s hats in the woods for them…there is a treat for each one found and a prize for the most hats found.

Guessing how many Elves socks there are…a prize for the winner.

A good old fashioned Elf Quiz you can do in your very own Cottage or Lodge.

Take part in the Elf Advent

If you can’t join us don’t worry, you can still join in.  If you message me on Facebook throughout December with where in the grounds and what you would like Elvis the Elf is doing, for a contribution to the Alzheimer’s Society you will be named and thanked in that day’s, Elf on a Shelf at Lancombe on Social Media.

There will be lots more updates coming up, but in the meantime, please feel free to contribute to our Just Giving page at: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ElfDay-atLancombe

And if you would like to join us for a fun packed, festive weekend from 3rd December, please click and book here:
